INTERVIEW
Admiral Consulting, a seasoned Microsoft Dynamics partner with a 24-year history, has found success in the competitive ERP landscape by embracing innovative solutions like K3 Pebblestone.
In a recent interview with Dominick Zappia, one of the key figures and partners at Admiral, insights were shared on the partnership with K3, its evolution, and its notable impact on our joint clients.
Founded in 2001, Admiral has established itself as a leading Microsoft Dynamics partner specialising in D365 Business Central. With a team of 20 individuals, the organisation focuses on both new implementations and providing support for its existing client base.
A little more than two years ago, K3 expanded into North America and committed significant resources to the endeavour. At the same time, Admiral sought a fashion and apparel partner willing to stake a real claim in the US market and demonstrate its commitment.
Once it was clear that K3 Pebblestone would be heavily supported stateside, Admiral was excited to explore the partnership. The dedication to the solution and genuine investment in the US market, alongside the sales and technical support, set K3 apart.
The partnership has flourished over the past two years, with K3 notably strengthening its US team and showcasing an even deeper commitment to the region. One of the standout features of the partnership has been the flexibility and support provided by K3. When needed, the team has been able to offer quick demos, close leads and adapt.
The seamless integration of K3 Pebblestone with D365 Business Central has simplified processes for our mutual clients, offering a user-friendly experience and eliminating redundant data entry.
Dominick shed light on how the matrix functionality within K3 Pebblestone, catering to colour, size and fit handling, has resonated strongly with clients. The collection component, focusing on sales functionality, has proven crucial for clients outsourcing manufacturing, too.
Furthermore, K3 Pebblestone has provided necessary business flexibility, which is crucial in the US market. Brands often deal with major retailers and department stores where efficiently and flexibly distributing goods is essential.
“Undoubtedly, adaptability holds a paramount position in the US market,” remarked Dominick. “Most manufacturing for US brands occurs overseas, whether managed by the company itself or outsourced to a third-party contractor. The primary challenge in the US lies in the efficient transportation of products to stores. This is where K3 Pebblestone excels, particularly in the crucial realm of wholesale distribution.”
This insight offers a valuable perspective for other fashion and apparel companies entering or expanding into the US market, stressing the need to understand and address the unique challenges of distribution within the region and providing a path to success.
As the conversation approached its end, it was abundantly clear that the partnership between Admiral and K3 served as a testament to the success that can be achieved through a commitment to understanding and meeting the specific needs of the US market.
“While we navigate the ever-evolving landscape of the US market, we are confident that our partnership with K3 will continue to develop, bringing about even more positive outcomes for our clients. Equipped with our deep understanding of the US market and K3’s bespoke solutions, we anticipate achieving substantial mutual successes,” concluded Dominick.
