Creswell Crags is a spectacular magnesian limestone gorge that straddles the border between Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, and is home to several caves, fissures, and rock shelters where early humans took shelter.
Visitors at Creswell Crags can explore the meadow, museum, and visitor centre – which was opened by the great Sir David Attenborough back in 2009.
As visitor attractions began re-opening after the pandemic, Creswell Crags needed a new retail solution that could integrate online bookings and build on the success of its online shop with a Shopify integration.
Speaking on the business’ decision to implement K3 MStore, Paul Kaye, Head of Commercial and Visitor Services at Creswell Crags, said:
“K3 provided the MStore solution, which meant we could integrate cave tour bookings, we could operate our café and gift shop seamlessly, take bookings over the phone, and integrate all of our different payment providers into one solution.”
With MStore now in place, visitors are able to book tours online and access all the information they need, which has transformed the way in the which the front of house team works.
“I’d like to thank K3 for guiding us through this project,” added Paul. “There’s been quite a lot of moving parts to it, it got complicated sometimes, but K3 were there to guide us through it and we’re looking forward to more years working together.”
